I am a Seattle naturopathic doctor conveniently located midway between the 
Wallingford and Fremont neighborhoods. I am committed to: helping people understand the naturopathic approach ~ that their symptoms are not their problem; rather symptoms are messages from the body guiding us to the underlying problem. When the problem is healed, the messages are no longer necessary, and the symptoms resolve.

I find working with patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome particularly rewarding, because I see so many patients who've just about given up after their Gastroenterologist has said, "there's nothing we can do - you'll have to learn to live with it." I have found just the opposite: there is plenty that can be done, and people do improve and heal.
Likewise, I espeically like to work with patients interested in changing their experience of Diabetes.
In both of these conditions, I have found that a conventional pharmaceutical approach leaves the patient with much to be desired, whereas I have seen that patients can make amazing progress with a combinataion of commitment and naturopathic medicine.
I also love to work with people who are essentially healthy but realize that that might be different from a state of optimal wellness, and would like some guidance in how to get there.
